We provide expert care, intentional maintenance, and solutions designed around the actual condition of your hair. Founded by MiMi STYLZ, Founder & CEO, Licensed Cosmetologist, Educator, and Natural Hair & Loc Specialist, with 30+ years of hands-on experience and more than 20 years as a licensed professional, The Thairapy Suite was built from experience—not trends. We know hair. We know locs. We know that every head of hair has its own story. We don’t guess. We assess. We don’t just style. We solve. Our specialties include Natural Hair Care, Loc Maintenance, Loc Repair, Restoration & Reconstruction, Precision Cutting, and Healthy Hair Solutions. Every recommendation starts with what your hair actually needs, where you want it to go, and the best way to get it there. Sometimes your hair needs maintenance. Sometimes it needs repair. Welcome to Your Thairapy Experience. ⸻ The Suite Standards Our Standards establish how The Thairapy Suite operates and what every client can expect from the experience. They are built around expertise, consistency, respect, and results. New Client Consultation Every new client begins with a New Client Consultation. We conduct an in-depth assessment of your hair & scalp, discuss your goals, and create an appointment plan based on what your hair actually needs. We also establish the appropriate service and investment required for your appointment. We do not recommend services blindly. The consultation determines what your hair needs—not simply what sounds good on a service menu. The nonrefundable Consultation Investment is applied toward services booked within 14 days. Client Communication Email is the best way to reach MiMi and the preferred method of communication for all questions, appointment-related matters, and general correspondence. Please allow adequate time for email responses. Text messaging is reserved for emergencies only. Non-emergency questions, requests, or appointment communication should be sent via email to ensure your message is received and addressed appropriately. Booking & Payments We accept: * Cash * Apple Pay * Tap to Pay * Major Debit/Credit Cards * Cash App: $MiMiStylz Every appointment is intentionally scheduled according to the service selected, time required, and availability of The Thairapy Suite. Every client secures their appointment with the required nonrefundable Reservation Investment. Booking another appointment while you are in the Suite does not waive the Reservation Investment. If your hair requires consistent maintenance, book your next appointment before leaving the Suite. Our availability is limited. Waiting until your hair is overdue does not guarantee your preferred date, time, or service. Consistency protects the work. Planning protects your appointment. VIP Priority Booking VIP Priority Booking is reserved for approved clients who require access outside our standard availability. This includes select extended-hour, last-minute, or otherwise unavailable appointments. A VIP Priority Booking Investment is required. Priority access is a premium convenience—not a replacement for planning. Appointment Experience The Thairapy Suite is a private, professional, premium environment. We maintain an atmosphere that is focused, respectful, and appropriate for professional service. Disruptive, discourteous, confrontational, or otherwise inappropriate conduct is not accepted. Excessive profanity, political discussions, inappropriate advances, comments, flirting, unwanted touching, or suggestive behavior have no place in The Thairapy Suite. Professional boundaries are non-negotiable. Crossing those boundaries ends the appointment. Your appointment is scheduled around the services selected at booking. Additional services must be discussed and scheduled before your appointment. We do not add services at the last minute or compromise the quality of your experience—or the appointment scheduled after yours. Every service requires dedicated time, preparation, technique, and attention. We do not rush quality work. Limited phone use is required when positioning, communication, or precision is affected. Your hair needs our attention. Give us the space to give it that. Timing & Cancellations Your appointment reserves dedicated time for your service, and we protect that time. 48-Hour Notice is required for cancellations and appointment rescheduling. Arriving more than 10 minutes late results in a $75 Late Arrival Charge. Arriving more than 15 minutes late results in cancellation of your appointment. Same-day cancellations and same-day rescheduling result in a 100% investment of the reserved service, plus a separate Reservation Investment required to secure the new appointment.
