Founded by MiMi STYLZ, a licensed cosmetologist, educator, and natural hair specialist with over 30 years of hands-on experience and more than 20 years as a licensed professional, The Thairapy Suite was created to bridge the gap between beautiful hair and healthy hair. MiMi’s experience as both a salon professional and cosmetology instructor allows her to educate clients while delivering customized services designed to meet their individual hair goals. Specializing in natural hair care, loc maintenance, loc restoration, precision cutting, and healthy hair solutions, every service is performed with intention, expertise, and attention to detail. Whether you’re beginning your loc journey, restoring damaged hair, maintaining healthy natural hair, or embracing a fresh new look, each appointment is designed to leave you feeling confident, cared for, and empowered. The Thairapy Suite operates by appointment only to ensure every client receives the focused attention and elevated experience they deserve. Consultations are required for new clients, major transformations, extension services, corrective work, and specialty services to ensure proper scheduling and service recommendations. At The Thairapy Suite, education is an important part of every appointment. We believe clients should understand their hair, not just wear it. Through professional recommendations, customized maintenance plans, and honest guidance, we help clients make informed decisions that support healthy, sustainable results between visits. Welcome to Your Thairapy Experience. ⸻ The Suite Standards New Client Consultation To ensure every client receives the most appropriate service recommendation, all first-time clients are required to book a Consultation before scheduling a service appointment. During your consultation, you will discuss your hair goals, history, and current concerns. Service appointments will be recommended and scheduled after the consultation. The consultation fee will be applied to your service(s) booked within 14 days. Booking & Payments Accepted Payments: * Cash * Apple Pay * Tap to Pay * Major Debit/Credit Cards * Cash App ($MiMiStylz) To maintain consistency and secure your preferred appointment times, pre-booking is strongly recommended. Senior Courtesy We proudly welcome our senior clients and are committed to providing exceptional care, patience, and personalized service during every visit. **VIP Priority Booking is available by approval only and may be offered when a client requests service outside of normal business hours or during unavailable dates. A VIP Priority Booking fee and standard service deposit are both required.** Appointment Experience To preserve the atmosphere of The Thairapy Suite, disruptive behavior, excessive profanity, disrespectful communication, and confrontational discussions may result in the immediate termination of the appointment. For the best experience and to ensure adequate time is reserved for your appointment, please be sure to book all services needed during the booking process. This allows sufficient time to provide the level of care, precision, and attention your service requires. As part of The Thairapy Suite standards, services may no longer be added upon arrival to your appointment. All services for a single visit must be selected and booked at the time your appointment is scheduled. To ensure the highest quality results, we kindly request limited phone use during services so proper positioning and precision can be maintained throughout your appointment. Service Adjustments Your satisfaction is important. If you experience an issue directly related to a service performed at The Thairapy Suite, please contact us within 72 hours and provide photos. If a correction is needed, a complimentary adjustment appointment may be scheduled. Adjustments are intended to correct issues related to the original service and do not apply to changes in preference, services altered by another professional, or concerns reported outside the adjustment period. Timing & Cancellations * Arrivals over 10 minutes late incur a ($75) late fee. * Arrivals exceeding 15 minutes require rescheduling. * 48-hour notice is required for cancellations or appointment changes. * Same-day cancellations, rescheduling, or missed appointments will result in the full investment of the reserved service **Documented medical emergencies, hospitalizations, and other verifiable emergencies may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at The Thairapy Suite’s discretion.”** Birthday Recognition At The Thairapy Suite, we love celebrating our clients! Clients visiting during their birthday month may receive a special birthday recognition at the discretion of The Thairapy Suite. To be eligible, your birth month must already be included in your client profile before your appointment. While we’d love to remember everyone’s birthday, we care for a lot of amazing clients, so we leave that job to our booking system. Birthday recognitions are not guaranteed, have no cash value, and are not offered as discounts, promotions, or service credits.
