Founded by MiMi STYLZ, a licensed cosmetologist, educator, and natural hair specialist with over 30 years of hands-on experience and more than 20 years as a licensed professional, The Thairapy Suite was created to bridge the gap between beautiful hair and healthy hair. MiMi’s experience as both a salon professional and cosmetology instructor allows her to educate clients while delivering customized services designed to meet their individual hair goals. Specializing in natural hair care, loc maintenance, loc restoration, precision cutting, and healthy hair solutions, every service is performed with intention, expertise, and attention to detail. Whether you’re beginning your loc journey, restoring damaged hair, maintaining healthy natural hair, or embracing a fresh new look, each appointment is designed to leave you feeling confident, cared for, and empowered. The Thairapy Suite operates by appointment only to ensure every guest receives the focused attention and elevated experience they deserve. Consultations may be required for new guests, major transformations, extension services, corrective work, and specialty services to ensure proper scheduling and service recommendations. At The Thairapy Suite, education is an important part of every appointment. We believe clients should understand their hair, not just wear it. Through professional recommendations, customized maintenance plans, and honest guidance, we help clients make informed decisions that support healthy, sustainable results between visits. Welcome to Your Thairapy Experience. ⸻ Suite Standards New Guest Consultation All new guests begin with a personalized consultation including a hair assessment, goal discussion, and customized service recommendations. Consultation fees are non-refundable and applied toward services booked within 14 days. Booking & Payments A non-refundable reservation fee is required for all appointments and will be applied toward your service total. Accepted Payments: * Cash * Apple Pay * Tap to Pay * Major Debit/Credit Cards * Cash App ($MiMiStylz) Guests are encouraged to pre-book future appointments to maintain consistency in their healthy hair journey. Appointment Experience _____________________ Client Respect & Conduct The Thairapy Suite is a professional, welcoming environment designed to promote relaxation, self-care, and healthy hair. We ask that all guests conduct themselves respectfully throughout their visit. Senior Courtesy Discount (65+) As a gesture of appreciation, clients age 65 and older receive a courtesy discount of: 
• $10 off services over $100
• $15 off services over $150 Priority Booking is available by approval only and may be offered when a client requests service outside of normal business hours or during unavailable dates. A Priority Booking fee and standard service deposit are both required. Inappropriate, disruptive, disrespectful, suggestive, or harassing behavior will not be tolerated. Any violation of this standard may result in the immediate termination of your service, full service charges being applied, and refusal of future appointments. For the best experience and to ensure adequate time is reserved for your appointment, please be sure to book all services needed during the booking process. This allows us to properly allocate the time required to care for your hair and provide the level of service you deserve. As part of The Thairapy Suite standards, services may no longer be added upon arrival to your appointment. All services for a single visit must be selected and booked at the time your appointment is scheduled. To ensure the highest quality results, we kindly request limited phone use during services so proper positioning and precision can be maintained throughout your appointment. Timing & Cancellations * Arrivals over 10 minutes late may incur a ($75) late fee. * Arrivals exceeding 15 minutes may require rescheduling. * 48-hour notice is required for cancellations or appointment changes. * Same-day cancellations or missed appointments will result in the full service amount being charged. Birthday Gift When you book an appointment during your birthday month, you’ll receive 10% off one qualifying service as our gift to you. It’s our way of saying thank you for allowing us to be part of your hair care journey.
